Sticky feelings
welcome here.
At Bubble Gum Therapy, we are intentional about how you are invited into the world of mental health support. We are deliberate in our clinical approach and move judiciously and thoughtfully in your treatment. In a world that often pathologizes the diverse breadth of human expression and experience and is quick to reduce individuals to their mental health symptoms, we are committed to debunking narrow, archaic, and oppressive models of care that only seek to incarcerate folks further emotionally.
Bubble Gum Therapy is committed to preserving the magic of your softness, allowing you to ease-fully unmask and unearth parts of your past, present, and future. We walk alongside you in this deeply intimate process of exploring who you are, where you’ve been, and where you enthusiastically seek to go.
Our taste of therapy
Our Why
We create an oasis for authenticity. Our work is rooted in creating uplifting and affirming spaces that center all parts of you; that expand to hold and honor your continuous complexities, dimensions, and realities.
Our beliefs
We believe human beings deserve a container to thoughtfully and holistically unearth who they are, have been, and want to be. We're committed to making therapy accessible and untangled from systems of violence and control.
Our hopes
We hope you leave each session feeling more at ease in your body, more in alignment with your values, and more cognizant of your intrinsic resources and strengths.
We know it can be vulnerable, difficult, and exhausting to find a provider whose identities speak back to your own, as well as someone whose energetic orientation feels like a good fit with your own. We work tirelessly to help carry the heaviness, and when it feels like too much, we do whatever we can to shoulder the weight with you.
Therapy, first and foremost, is a collaborative relationship. We use diverse trauma-informed healing modalities and tools rooted in evidence-based techniques, intuitive education, culturally informed and ancestral-based forms of healing and wellness, and non-traditional approaches to emotional exploration.
Individual Therapy
We offer a one-on-one container to process, discover, and explore your wants, concerns, and needs.
Family + Sibling Therapy
We offer containers of support for all kinds of family structures, including sibling-focused therapy and chosen family structures.
Couples + Partnership Therapy
We offer containers of support for all kinds of relationship structures, couplesdoms, and partnerships (including friendships, community member conflict, roommates, business partners, etc.).
Group Therapy
We offer open and closed thematic containers for community to come together and process. Our groups span skills work, exploration spaces, and are made for individuals and couples alike. Find more about our current group offerings.
